Assembly: Ambedkar Jayanti
Class V-B students organized the Ambedkar Jayanti Assembly on 15 April 2024, to honour the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. This occasion holds significant importance as it commemorates Dr. Ambedkar's remarkable efforts towards social justice and equal rights for marginalized communities. Through a skit, students portrayed key events from Dr. Ambedkar's life, shedding light on his struggles and the discrimination he faced, both in the classroom, on the playground and during train travels due to his caste. The assembly not only showcased the societal prejudices Dr. Ambedkar encountered but also emphasized his achievements and his tireless advocacy for the upliftment of lower caste communities.
